About the site

Tipping Point East operates from a 8,000sqm site in Silvertown, Royal Docks in the London Borough of Newham. You can read more about the location’s historical context here.

Our site is split across 3 key areas, which also reflect our service offering, which includes:

  • Yes Make handle the in- and outflow, processing and certification of large scale construction material at our Material Yard. This is a more cost effective alternative to waste disposal and handling oversupply.

    The materials can be purchased from Yes Make at between 10-50% of their original price. Materials are also directly going back into community builds by Yes Make as principle contractor, saving non-profit organisations capital build costs.

  • RESOLVE Collective run Material Store, which is a membership-based platform to access materials reclaimed from museums and galleries, ensuring these become accessible to communities (More info available soon)

  • We offer curated site and study visits which can be booked here. For future free visits please check our events page.

    All founding partners offer training and learning programmes, which are advertised through their respective websites and social media channels.

    TPE is actively exploring to fill the gap in circular construction skills training, based on what we learn in operating our site and businesses.

  • Material Yard

    The material yard and processing warehouse run by Yes Make facilitates our large-scale construction material circular practice. Materials come into the site where they are processed and prepared for their onward journey into new buildings.

  • Circular Office

    Our shared office space which has been built 100% from reclaimed materials from 20 sites across London. It sits adjacent to open plan workshop space and material library.

  • Material Store

    RESOLVE Collective run Material Store from the southside of one of our warehouses, providing a materials from the art world and museum sector to grassroots organisations, artists and residents a low cost membership basis
